About

For over 24 years, owners and principals John and Donna VanBrouck (husband & wife) have forged lasting partnerships with clients in the design of more that 600 luxury homes. Office
Our downtown Birmingham office reflects our attention to detail. We completely designed and detailed a two story 1968 mid-century style building in downtown Birmingham, transforming it into a beautifully appointed design studio and elegant office space. Exquisite attention to detail flows throughout the space.
Testimonials
We are grateful to our clients who have entrusted us with their dreams, and have allowed us to share in this creative journey with them. John and Donna VanBrouck design the most incredible houses. Their attention to detail is like none other. The homes they design not only work well in everyday living but look spectacular.
Process
Whether you are embarking on your first custom home design project or this process is familiar to you, it is important to have an experienced team to lead you to success. VanBrouck & Associates has the knowledge, experience, and talent to guide you through every phase of the design process from the initial preliminary design phase through final detailed construction drawings.
Fly Arounds
We want our clients to have a clear vision of their custom home project and nothing does this better than taking you on a virtual tour of your future home using the latest in 3-D technology. We call these videos "Fly Arounds" because it is as if you are inside a drone flying around your property from every possible angle.
Collections
A number of projects from the firm's extensive archives have been selected and compiled into fourteen exclusive and proprietary plan collections. The collections showcase diverse architectural styles and floor plans, and provide an ideal launching point to begin the creative exploration process for designing a home.
Awards
We design beautiful homes that consistently gain recognition and praise. In fact, we are a 8-time winner of the top award of "Best Overall Home", and 6-time winner of the "Reader's Choice Best Home" in the annual Detroit Home Design Awards. The diverse styles of each home are a testament to our creative range and vision for our clients.
