Charles and Margaret Blake started Blake Sand & Gravel in Sequim, selling ready-mix concrete, sand and gravel. The family business provided a special brand of service that enabled the company to grow rapidly in the local community. Their son Dave became President in 1980. In 1992, they expanded to the location on Blake Avenue in Sequim and includes tile, landscape, and masonry supplies.

Jordan - Our energetic, fun loving, and fearless (except for spiders) leader is a life time resident of the Olympic Peninsula and has worked here at Blake Tile & Stone since May of 2002. When he's not at work you're most likely to find him riding his Harley. He would like to see a coffee stand added to the store, in order to make discussing the innovative and user friendly Schluter Systems with customers even more enjoyable.

Flagstone

Flagstone is a versatile natural stone that is a great choice for everything from garden stepping stones, to patios, to both indoor and outdoor hearths. We offer at least a dozen options from Quartzite to Sandstone. Our sand set flagstone is approximately 1"-2" thick and full pallets weigh in at about 4,000 pounds - giving a coverage of about 20 - 30 pounds per square foot.
