These guys came out and did a fantastic job on cleaning and servicing our fire place. The tech took the extra time time to give us advice on proper operation, and overall gee whizz info on how there properly installed, safety concerns and parts/servicing in the future. I would highly recommend this company.

Can't say enough good! Dustin was VERY informative and thorough. We'd been told we had flue damage, and Dustin (thankfully) found NONE, while correcting a couple of minor issues and doing a log refresh. Couldn't have been happier, and saved us thousands of dollars!

James and Ronnie were very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and helpful. James educated me as to the proper use and care of my wood burning and gas fireplaces. They did a wonderful job diagnosing and fixing or educating me on the issues I was having. Ronnie did an excellent job cleaning and painting my fireplaces where needed. These guys are great! We had them come and service our wood burning fireplace after buying our new house just to make sure everything was safe for our family. The tech did an excellent job and even cleaned our fireplace doors before he left. They were even able to find some parts to update our older unit. I would definitely recommend these guys to anybody looking for a fireplace company.

I chose this company after many people on the Nextdoor app recommended them and I did my research. We have never owned a home with a working fireplace before. Ours is a gas, direct vent fireplace. So we wanted piece of mind knowing that our home is completely safe and how to use the fireplace.

They were prompt, which was appreciated, but I probably would go to someone else next time. We called to request a cleaning due to raccoons in our chimney, and a cap to have put over the top. They agreed and came out within about an hour.
Disappointed that they charge us more than quoted, without acknowledging why. I can't help but assume they have no fee schedule, and make it up as they go along. Also when they arrived, they neglected to tell us they did not have caps, but had to order one in. So we had to pay a second service charge to have the cap installed and ordered. River City Chimney & Hearth came to my place on a service call to repair a propane fireplace. They were there for ten minutes, left and said they needed to order a part to fix it. I had to call them a couple weeks later after not hearing from them. They informed me that the part I needed is not easy to find, so it was not worth their time to look for it. The owner said he would refund the service fee of $180 but never did.
