American Solar Partners (ASP) is a New York-based solar power company that designs, finances, and installs residential and commercial solar power projects. Our goals are to help people save money on electricity costs, to increase the use of renewable energy to combat climate change, and to create good, green union jobs.
We use only high-quality, American-made modules with full warranties, and all of our projects are done with highly trained union contractors. We also have installed solar systems for members of unions such as IBEW, TWU, PEF, 1199, UFT, NYSUT, CSEA, as well as their friends and families. While we emphasize union members in our marketing, we serve all types of customers throughout the Northeast.
Unlike many companies, American Solar Partners is willing and able to install on flat roofs. However, ASP only offers the opportunity to own solar power systems; we do not offer leases because they generate less savings than ownership. Our commitment to affordable and clean power is national in the United States, but we have a special focus on New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.

In the United States, homeowners are eligible to receive a federal tax credit for 30% of the total cost of their solar system's installation. Other incentives and rebates vary from state to state, and New York offers great support for solar, including a state tax credit and a rebate administered by the state energy authority.
