Studies show that homes listed for sale that are staged by a professional designer sell faster and at a higher sales price. Whether you are designing a new kitchen, staging your home to sell or just need an updated color palette, you risk loosing a lot by making the wrong choices.

Hiring a trained and licensed interior designer helps you eliminate the frequent and common mistakes homeowners and contractors make when trying to put together or design a space on their own.It frequently happens where a contractor or homeowner will pick out coordinating materials that look perfect in the showroom or home improvement store.

Once it is installed it tells a completely different story and they are disappointed with the end result they have spent a great deal both time and of money on. This can be avoided by having a professional who knows how to put together all of the materials, patterns, colors and textures specific to the location, lighting, size, layout and style of the space.

About Me

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest where my father's construction company designed and built beautiful custom homes. Working on some of his projects as I was growing up allowed me to glean a great deal of construction knowledge from my father which helps me in the design and construction process. Early on I knew I had a deep love for building and designing.

When buyers can visualize the product as their home, an offer is made. According to a survey by the National Association of Realtors "Over 81% of buyers find it easier to visualize the property as their future home when it is staged." According to Kiplinger magazine "Home sellers spend an average of $1,800 to stage a home, but costs can range from a couple of hundred dollars to $5,000 or more."

Our home had a very dated kitchen that needed a significant remodel. We knew we needed help from a designer we could trust to carry us through such a major project, from choosing the appropriate materials, colors, fabrics, appliances, etc to dealing with budgets, contractors, and timelines.
