Gorham, Maine - Since 2013, Jotul North America (Jotul) has supported Operation BBQ Relief, a 501c3 disaster relief non-profit that provides hot meals to those in need after disaster strikes and the first responders helping those communities. Bret Watson, Jotul President, recently presented the company's latest check for $14,500 at the HPBExpo in Dallas, TX.

Gorham, Maine - At the recent HPBExpo in Dallas, TX, the large wood stove Jotul F 500 OSLO V3 was awarded Best of Show and Best Wood Stove, for its groundbreaking Fusion Technology.
Jotul North America doubles production at the company's Gorham Maine facility by adding wood stove production. GORHAM, Maine - All Jotul brand wood and gas stoves and fireplace inserts sold in the North America will now be manufactured in Gorham, Maine. The transfer doubles production at the company's Gorham facility.
A 160 Year Long Norwegian Adventure

Jotul is the longest running producer of wood stoves in the world boasting a 165 year long history. The adventure started in Loelva in 1853 where Oluf Onsum, the son of a farmer, founded Kvaerner Jernstoberi. Kvaerner started the development of cast iron products, and leading up to 1900, the company was one of the largest wood stove foundries in Norway.
