During summer months we recommend your filter system to run at least 8 to10 hours each day of the week. All the chemicals in the world will not help stagnant water stay clear. Keep your filter clean, we recommend having your filter cleaned at least twice a year for a DE filter, and 4 times a year for cartridge filters.
