Indoor Air Quality Testing
Our Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) inspections identify pollutants like mold, VOCs, and carbon monoxide that may impact health. Using EPA guidelines, we analyze air samples and provide actionable recommendations to improve ventilation and reduce contaminants. Services include thermal imaging for moisture detection and CO/CO2 monitoring, ensuring safer environments for homes and businesses.
Mold Inspection
We detect mold growth through visual assessments, moisture mapping, and lab-certified sampling. Our process identifies species like Cladosporium and Aspergillus, which can trigger allergies or respiratory issues. Thermal imaging locates hidden moisture sources, while remediation protocols guide safe removal. Services cover residential and commercial properties, focusing on preventing recurrence.
Asbestos Testing
Our certified inspectors identify asbestos-containing materials in older properties using microscopy analysis. We assess risks from disturbed fibers linked to lung diseases and provide abatement guidance. Services include sampling, OSHA-compliant monitoring, and training for safe handling, ensuring compliance with EPA regulations for pre-1978 structures.
Radon Detection
We conduct EPA-recommended radon testing using continuous monitors and charcoal canisters to measure this radioactive gas. High radon levels, a leading cause of lung cancer, are identified through long-term and short-term assessments. Our reports include mitigation strategies like sub-slab depressurization to reduce indoor concentrations below the 4 pCi/L action level.
Water Intrusion Assessment
Thermal imaging and moisture meters detect hidden water leaks in walls, roofs, and EIFS systems. We identify entry points through roof flashing, brick, or concrete to prevent structural damage and mold growth. Services include collaboration with insurance companies for damage estimates and EIFS-specific evaluations to ensure building integrity.

After an indoor air quality test revealed elevated mold levels in our home, we searched for a professional to help us identify the source and come up with a plan to remediate. we called multiple contractors and nobody would assist us. We heard alot of things that made us feel like there was really nothing to worry about. Then I reached out to a trusted inspector who referred me to Steve Ambro. Steve is the most competent, thorough, professional Industrial Hygenist in the business. He helped us identify the source, developed a protocol and responded to our questions quickly and thoroughly. Steve Ambro did a home inspection and no where in his 39 page report did he mention any possible water leaks from a waterline that was turned off and going to my outside faucet. on my moving day the AC repairman turned on this waterline and I noted immediately that water was running out from under my exterior siding. To go on I had 3 water leaks from this water pipe over the next 24-36 hours that has ruined my hardwood floors. Steve will not stand by his poor inspection and has refused to report this incident to his insurance company even though he is liable for the damage. I do have witnesses
