Brandon grew up in Cedar Lake, Indiana, living on the water and loving boat life. During his High school years, Brandon worked for a landscaping company. Through this experience he gained knowledge of building retaining walls, driving bobcats and other large equipment, installing sod and brick pavers, and planting trees and other shrubbery for residential and commercial clients.
These experiences helped Brandon recognize his love of landscaping and working with clients to accomplish their perfect property. His work with large equipment, such as trucks and trailers, led Brandon to obtain his Class A Commercial Driver's License. Meredith grew up in Illinois with a family who also enjoyed lake life.
After High School, Meredith attended DePaul University where she worked toward her degree in education. After spending some time working as a teacher's aide, Meredith landed her first teaching job in 2011 working in a Lutheran School. There she realized her love of working with children. In 2011, Brandon and Meredith moved back to Illinois and Brandon continued his trucking career.
