Questions
What roofing materials do you recommend for Vermont homes?
We recommend asphalt shingles for budget-conscious options, standing seam metal for durability, and slate for premium longevity. Our experts help select materials based on climate, budget, and aesthetic preferences.
How do I know if I need roof repair or replacement?
Our team assesses roof age, damage extent, and budget during inspections. Minor issues require repairs, while aging roofs or extensive damage necessitate full replacements for long-term protection.
What safety measures do you implement during construction projects?
We enforce strict safety protocols including proper equipment use, site security measures, and regular team training to protect workers, clients, and property throughout all projects.
Do you offer warranties on your work?
We provide a 10-year workmanship warranty and up to lifetime material warranties through manufacturer partnerships, ensuring long-term protection and client confidence in our services.
How can I maintain my new siding?
Maintenance depends on material type. Vinyl requires occasional cleaning, wood needs periodic staining, and fiber cement should be inspected for cracks. We provide specific care instructions for each installation.
What areas do you serve?
We primarily serve Vermont, New Hampshire, and Upstate New York, providing consistent quality service across residential and commercial projects in these regions.

Vermont Construction did an amazing job building our custom home from start to finish. Dana was very involved in the process and worked with our architect and interior designers to execute some really complicated details. His crew was very knowledgable and friendly. Everyone that was involved with the company were mindful of our specific needs and very helpful throughout the entire project. We will be hiring Vermont Construction again to build our guest house next year.

I started looking for someone to replace my roof and the roof of a rental property late winter of 2021. It either took forever for someone take a look at the project and get an estimate or I never had a return call. In addition, the work could maybe be done in the fall.
VCC sent someone within days of my call, had an estimate before the next day and the work for both houses would be done by the next month. It all happened as planned and the price was far better than anyone else I spoke to. There was an area that I had a concern about, called the company and someone came out to fix it the next

I had the roof replaced on my South Burlington investment property in early December of 2021 (luckily there was no snow!) and I must say I am all around 100% satisfied with my Vermont Construction Company experience. This is the first time I've ever had to hire a contractor so I have no basis for comparison but here are the facts: the roof looks fantastic, they left the landscape the way it was beforehand, and the final cost ($16,500 for 34 squares) wasn't much more than estimated and the extra charges (the necessary replacement of rotted plywood and bad chimney lead flashing that I confirmed with
