What began as two technicians coming together to form a business has now grown to more than 25 skilled technicians. Roberts & Petty Inc. began in 1965. Aaron Roberts and Ted Petty decided to combine their experience and start their own venture. Within a year, they were joined by current owners, Dale Nix and Mickey Perkins.

Roberts and Petty Inc. was presented a plaque from Carrier North Texas, in recognition of their 40 years as a dealer of Carrier products. Not pictured is co-owner Rex Bessent. Aaron Roberts and Ted Petty struck out on their own in 1965, partnering to form Roberts and Petty. Two of the current owners joined them within a year.
